I wouldn’t normally devote a whole article to one food type, but if there’s one thing I remember about South America it’s the empanada. A stuffed bread or pastry not unlike a Cornish pasty in appearance, an empanada is a popular and delicious snack found across Latin America in different shapes and forms. Anyone travelling to the continent is sure to come across one and that’s why I thought it worth dedicating a little time to them. (more…)
